OE Certificate Program

UC Riverside is a university on the move, gaining widespread recognition for the impacts of its teaching, research, and public service.

Today, Chancellor Kim A. Wilcox and Provost Paul J. D’Anieri are leading an ambitious initiative to increase the size, reach and research of the entire campus: creating 300 new ladder-rank faculty positions, accelerating growth, improving the physical infrastructure, and becoming more global.

The effort is rooted in the campus’s Strategic Plan: “UCR 2020,” which set firm goals in achieving Academic Excellence, increasing Access, serving as a national exemplar for Diversity, and leveraging the power of a major research university to strengthen Engagement.

To fulfill the plan, UCR leadership has embarked on UCR Organizational Excellence, a group of key initiatives that will transform the campus through focused activities beginning in four key areas:

  • UCR Printing & Reprographics is Living the Promise with Organizational Excellence & Lean Thinking
  • Conferencing and Events OE Workgroup
