OE Ambassadors

Organizational Excellence (OE) at UCR is a grassroots initiative that seeks to create a culture that inspires all members of our campus community to improve the use of available resources so that we operate at maximum efficiency. Following our OE campus-wide events, individuals across all levels and Organizations on campus have volunteered to build this initiative from the ground up.

OE Staff Ambassadors

Our Staff Ambassadors and are championing OE across campus, introducing OE to their departments, encouraging attendance to events and implementing OE principles in their workflows. Ambassadors are the critical connection between executive leadership and staff across campus. Staff Ambassadors receive professional growth opportunities, including workgroup participation and specialized trainings.

OE Staff Ambassadors Requirements

  • 5% Time commitment (2hrs/week)
  • Work as a liaison to point people toward OE campus resources
  • Advocate on behalf of OE within departments and with campus committees
  • Attend, provide support for and promote participation in OE events

OE Faculty Advocates

Our Faculty Advocates play a pivotal role in supporting the OE initiative by serving as catalysts for change within their department, communicating the importance and benefits of OE to their colleagues, especially in the area of contract and grant accounting. Faculty Advocates provide critical insight to OE leadership by offering a faculty perspective of how OE should operate at UCR.

  • Time commitment will vary depending on the Advocate’s availability
  • Work as a liaison to point faculty toward OE campus resources
  • Advocate on behalf of OE within departments and with campus committees
  • Attend, provide support for and promote participation in OE events
